A-Level Geography Teacher

Simply Education is privileged to be working with an independent education provider who is based in Cambridge. We are assisting with the recruitment of a part-time teacher of Geography. The position would commence from September 2016 however can start earlier if you are available.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and the students have the benefit of lots of space with fantastic resources. Class sizes are smaller than average with students who are high achievers. This is a rare opportunity to join an amazing school from January 2016 and to gain some great experience.

The successful Geography teacher will be confident in planning and assessing on all parts of the curriculum - Key Stage 4 (KS4) & Key Stage 5 (KS5). This position will involve the full spectrum of teaching including marking and parents evening.

Requirements

-Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education or other UK comparable teaching qualification. Applications also welcome from outstanding NQTs.

-Passion for supporting students in their learning

-Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills.
